Dr. Gerald Ferencz is a licensed chiropractic physician and Active Release Therapy certified practitioner Performance Rx Sports Care in Tustin, CA.  He is a preferred sports medicine practitioner in Orange County and Southern California.  He attended California State University Northridge earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and Biomechanics and graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic with Cum Laude honors from SCUHS.

Dr. Ferencz is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  In the realm of sports where strength and conditioning are considered routine, spinal stabilization is not just a notion to merely be looked at, but rather a foundation necessary for success. This governing foundation transcends the athletic achievements and pervades into each patient encounter.

To add to his expertise in sports medicine Dr. Ferencz was also a Division I Collegiate swimmer, earning National and qualifying for the Olympic trials in 50m and 100m freestyle events.  Furthermore, he is an accomplished triathlete, frequently placing as a top 5 finisher in sprint triathlon events such as the Hansen Dam triathlon. In combination with his extensive undergraduate knowledge, athleticism, and experience he has cultivated as a chiropractor, and as a nationally ranked athlete, Dr. Ferencz creates an exceptional approach to healthcare that is often overlooked and misunderstood.  The treatment protocols established for each patient highlights human performance in conjunction with pain resolution to create an all encompassed treatment and program combined. The treatment protocol is done in this fashion because he believes that when you unite sports performance training and unique treatment protocols, you create a learning environment for a patient or athlete alike to become aware of their performance capabilities as well as body awareness to correct biomechanical flaws.
